Winery System
Requirement:
The client is into the winery business, in order to maintain the quality of their wine throughout the production process. Key factors such as temperature during fermentation, pH levels, and dissolved oxygen content play a vital role in determining both the taste and safety of the wine. These parameters require continuous monitoring and quick response to deviations, which traditionally depended on manual checks and expert judgment. The client wanted to simplify this process by using a system that could provide real-time updates on these critical values, helping their team act quickly to maintain consistent quality.
Solution
To meet this need, we implemented our IoT platform, Sensor Vision, which allowed real-time monitoring and visualization of temperature, pH, and dissolved oxygen levels in the winery. The solution included seamless integration with the winery’s existing sensors connected via The Things Network (TTN). Data was collected, securely stored, and visualized through interactive dashboards accessible from any device. Alerts were also set up to notify staff whenever values crossed critical thresholds, enabling immediate corrective action. This system helped the winery improve both operational efficiency and quality control by offering timely, data-driven insights throughout the production process.
