Web Application Development
for IoT Products & Platforms

WeMakeIoT builds the web side of connected products - device management portals, real-time dashboards, and white-label SaaS platforms. We work in React.js and Node.js, and can also extend an existing LAMP or MEAN stack. Building web applications since 1999, via our parent company Software Associates.

A connected device is only as useful as the interface on top of it. WeMakeIoT builds the portals, dashboards, and admin consoles that let your team and customers see device data, manage fleets, and act on alerts.

📊

Real-Time Data Visualization

Live dashboards on WebSocket and MQTT feeds - no page refresh needed.

👥

Multi-Tenant & Role-Based Access

Separate views for admins, operators, and end customers, permissioned by role.

🔔

Rule-Based Alerts & Notifications

Threshold and anomaly alerts via email, SMS, or in-app - before downtime hits.

🗄️

Built for High-Volume Telemetry

Backends designed for write-heavy, time-series IoT data, not a typical CRUD app.

🔌

API-First Architecture

REST and WebSocket APIs from day one, shared across web, mobile, and integrations.

☁️

Cloud-Native or Self-Hosted

On AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud - or on-premise for compliance needs.

From a single dashboard to a multi-tenant SaaS platform under your own brand.

🖥️
Device Management Portals
Core service

Provisioning, fleet visibility, firmware tracking, and device health at a glance.

📈
Real-Time Dashboards
Data visualization

Custom charts, maps, and widgets built around your data, not a generic template.

🏷️
White-Label SaaS Platforms
B2B / B2C

Multi-tenant platforms to sell under your own brand - billing and onboarding included.

🔗
Cloud & API Integration
Backend

REST and WebSocket APIs into AWS IoT, Azure IoT, ThingsBoard, SensorVision, ERP, or CRM.

🔐
User & Access Management
Security

Authentication and multi-tenant, role-based permissions built in.

🛒
E-Commerce & Business Integration
Full-stack

Registration platforms that also handle payments, subscriptions, and orders.

🧭
Legacy System Modernization
Migration

Modernising an existing LAMP or MEAN platform, or adding new IoT data feeds to it.

🔄
OTA & Fleet Web Console
Post-launch

Push firmware to devices in the field, track rollout, and roll back if needed.

We fit the technology to the project.

⚛️

React.js + Node.js

Best for: New builds needing a fast UI and a JS backend on REST/WebSocket APIs.

Python

Python Backends

Best for: Analytics, rule processing, or ML on device telemetry.

🧱

LAMP / MEAN Stack

Best for: Extending an existing open-source platform.

⚙️

ThingsBoard / SensorVision

Best for: A proven dashboard platform, not a fully custom build.

🔐

AWS Lambda / Serverless

Best for: Event-driven backends that scale without managing servers.

Real WeMakeIoT web application projects.

Do you build from scratch, or on a platform like ThingsBoard?
Both. Fully custom builds use React.js, Node.js, or Python. For faster time to market, we set up and customise ThingsBoard or our own SensorVision platform.
Can you work with our existing web platform instead of rebuilding it?
Yes - we regularly extend existing LAMP and MEAN-stack platforms with new data feeds, dashboards, or integrations.
How do you handle real-time data on the dashboard?
WebSocket connections and MQTT-to-web bridges, so telemetry updates on screen as it arrives.
Can the platform support multiple customers or tenants?
Yes - multi-tenant, role-based access is standard in our device management and SaaS builds.
Do you also build the mobile app that pairs with the web platform?
Yes - Flutter and React Native companion apps on the same backend and APIs.
